The journey of MV Studios Japan began with its first web comic, centered around "MULI," a spirited and stylish character who became a fan favorite. The "M" represents Muli, while "V" stands for its viewers. Written by Vansh Saxena, the comic debuted on June 3, 2020, and quickly gained attention with its intriguing characters, scenes, and storyline. The comics were released twice a week, gradually building a dedicated following.

A few months later, the studio transitioned into animation, adapting the comics into cartoons. The initial release, launched on Sakura School Simulator Game, did not perform as expected. However, undeterred by setbacks, the studio persevered and released "MULI Returning Home!" in 2D animation. This heartfelt anime earned the title of "underrated treasure" for its special place in the hearts of viewers.
